An ecological and sustainable architecture is one that is perfectly integrated into its environment and that is built with natural and recycled materials, which takes advantage of all natural resources such as the sun, wind, water and land as sources of energy.

It will also provide people living in it with high levels of comfort, well-being and peace with the minimum consumer demand for air conditioning. And it is that a house well oriented and with optimal systems in terms of insulation, sealing, sun protection, ventilation can become a house of almost zero energy consumption.

It knows how to recover water from the rain itself, employs technologies that reduce water use. It makes efficient use of natural resources. in this way the environmental impact is reduced compared to conventional architecture.

When designing a sustainable ecological architecture project we must consider factors such as the ecosystem of the environment or the hydrological and climatic conditions of it. Simply learn from what exists, know how to observe the landscape.

As for the materials used in this type of construction must be natural, recyclable and/or recycled hygroscopic, non-toxic and generate little footprint, preferably that are materials of the area to avoid transport. So wood, brick, natural stone, vegetable fibers, would be materials that a priori, would meet these criteria.

As for the use of natural resources, the sun and wind will be able to provide us with solar and wind energy for the climatization of the house using in this way renewable resources. A good orientation will contribute to improve the energy efficiency of the building making it a more thermally comfortable place and will help provide lighting.
